Healthland Appoints Senior Vice President of Product Management and Development

Healthland, America's market leader of healthcare information solutions for small community and critical access hospitals, announced today the appointment of Stan Opstad to the executive team as the senior vice president of product management and development. In the new role, Opstad will lead a group of focused and experienced healthcare product managers, workflow experts, user interface specialists, architects and programmers. This team will continue to focus on developing products that will enable small community hospitals to provide the highest level of patient care and safety, while meeting meaningful use criteria under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). Opstad’s new position is effective immediately.
