Infosys sets up U.S. unit to bid for govt deals

Infosys Technologies, India's second-largest software services exporter, has set up a wholly owned unit in the United States to win outsourcing deals from government departments, a senior official said.
"The subsidiary in the U.S. has been formally set up and now we have to commit a business plan and hire people there," Chief Financial Officer V. Balakrishnan told Reuters on Friday. "It's too early to talk about its business plan."
