India's enterprise software market set to grow by 12%

Progress Software Corporation has announced that British Airways will use its SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) solutions for its travel programmes as it upgrades the IT systems. The new system is aimed at integrating over 600 different electronic systems and processes involved. "With 300 locations across the world, 25,000 users and 250 applications, British Airways wants to transform the travel experience," Mr Gordon Penfold, Chief Technology Officer of British Airways, said here in a statement. - Our Bureau.
