The country’s largest software exporter, Tata Consultancy Services, achieved cost savings of $26 million (about Rs 125 crore) last fiscal thanks to in-house R&D.
This was over twice as much the roughly $12 million (Rs 57 crore) saved in 2007-08.“The CTO (Chief Technology Officer) and R&D go-to-market team were able to influence customers and facilitate business wins in several verticals.
