Ixia Wins Two Best of Show Awards at Interop Japan 2009

IXIA global provider of IP performance test systems, today announced that its “K2” 100 Gigabit Ethernet (GE) solution was awarded Interop Japan’s Best of Show “Grand Prix” award while it’s next generation Acceleron™-NP load module, which provides the industry with an unmatched level of appication layer test emulation capacity, garnered Best of Show in the Test and Measurement category. Ixia was also instrumental in NTT Communications’ Best of Show “Grand Prix” award for a demonstration of its next generation ultra high speed network technology – a 100 Gbps test between the show floor and NTT office in Otemachi (Tokyo), in which an Ixia K2 was used to generate and analyze traffic.
