HCL Will Seek Acquisitions During the Recession, Nayar Says

HCL the Indian software-services company controlled by billionaire Shiv Nadar, plans to take advantage of the recession by making acquisitions.

“In the downturn, you should press the accelerator,” Vineet Nayar, chief executive officer of the Noida, India-based company, said in an interview in New York.
