Bangalore, May 21 The MphasiS Group, the Indian IT services subsidiary of Hewlett-Packard, reported a consolidated second quarter net profit of Rs 224.5 crore on revenues of Rs 1,048.5 crore aided by steady bill rates and a weak rupee. Net profit for the corresponding last quarter stood at Rs 70.3 crore on revenues of Rs 688.4 crore.
For the half-year ended April 2009, MphasiS recorded a net profit of Rs 434.5 crore on revenues of Rs 2,026.1 crore. The MphasiS scrip gained 4.4 per cent on the BSE to close at Rs 285.4 on Thursday.
