Ixia Validates Industry's Highest-Density 10GBASE-T Data Center Switch

IXIA (NASDAQ: XXIA), a leading, global provider of IP performance test systems, today announced the availability of the world’s highest density 10GBASE-T test system based on the highly successful IxYukon architecture. 10GBASE-T is emerging as the lowest cost solution for 10GbE links in data center switches, routers and servers. The IxYukon 10GBASE-T solution was used to test Arista Network’s low latency, high throughput 48-port auto-negotiating 1/10GBASE-T 7100T switch. This marks the first time that such a large-scale 10GBASE-T test has been conducted. Ixia’s IxYukon 10GBASE-T interfaces and Arista’s switch will be demonstrated at Ixia’s booth (#1813) at Interop Las Vegas from May 19 to 21.
